When choosing a driving instructor to learn
to become an instructor yourself it is important to choose one that is
qualified with the official registered of driving instructor training.
On the driving instructor course we will
provide you with the tuition to become a first class instructor.
To become a fully qualified ADI you need the best training, with Learner Driving Centre Wales you get the best.
Our course is made up of three separate courses, and provides over 250 hours of theoretical and practical training.
This involves a five stage programme of study. At the end of each stage you will submit a multiple choice test for marking. Once you have completed the course you will have one final mock exam before taking the actual exam. Whilst waiting for the exam you will be provided with a Mega Mock Exam Booklet to simulate actual exam questions.
This usually starts half way through the part one course and finishes shortly after passing part one of the exam.
The part two exam follows the L test format however, it is 1hr in duration and requires the candidate to show advanced driving skills.
You are only allowed to make 5 minor errors.
The examiner needs to make sure you can practise what you are about to preach.
The course includes 10 hours of one to one in car training (This can be doubled on a two to one basis).
The part three test is 1 hr in duration and requires you to give two driving lessons to an examiner
who will play the role of two pupils at various stages in their development.
Based on the quality of the lessons the examiner will determine if you have passed.
The course includes 20 hours of one to one in car training.
